KAWAMOTO Yuko: Wants to
express light in darkness, and movement in tranquility. Her feminine
and curvy body flatters her physical ability, which she has trained
in modern ballet. She is very expressive in a standstill and emits
a strong sense of existence.
KATATA Chisato: Wants to express subtle but important part of life,
which we tend to overlook. Her body is thin and flexible. It looks
as though she could change freely the materials of her body. Overall,
she is sensitive and mysterious.
SHIMADA Asuka: Wants to create a work that gives people hope and courage.
She keeps her balance low, which she has acquired through practicing
Japanese classical dance. Taking advantage of "ma" (pause),
which is very important in Japanese classical dance and affects one's
perception in time, she creates atmosphere filled with emotions and
glamour. |
